Week 1 was the long anticipated week where Corps Members finally arrived to the Houston Institute.
To kick off the Houston Institute, there's an opening ceremony. Think cheesy teen movie high school pep rally meets @PostGradProblems interlaced with "I'm going to close the education gap" aspirations. This mom spoke at the ceremony how her children were personally affected by Teach for America at a local school. Cannan, above, is one of her three kids.

Corps Members are finally using the Copy Center, staffed by the Office Operations team, to prepare materials for their students.
